Integrating Novocall (HelpDesk)
To integrate Novocall as a helpdesk provider (to enable you to provide ticketing and chat capabilities within your HelpShelf widget) you will need to set the App ID.
Locating your App ID
The App ID needed here, is the ID linked to your Novocall site. To locate it, simply log into your Novocall account by heading to https://call.novocall.co/users/sign_in. Once logged in, take a look at the URL in your browser. In our case, it is https://call.novocall.co/widget/77tspwrzwkc/dashboard
The App ID is the seemingly random string that sits between /widget/ and /dashboard/ - which is 77tspwrzwkc.
A couple of things to note. Make sure you aren't including the slashes on either side of your App ID and bear in mind that the exact location of your App ID in the URL will differ depending on the page you are on when logged into Novocall. For example. if we are in the Widget settings page (https://call.novocall.co/widget/77tspwrzwkc/call_settings/call_reps) the App ID now sits in between /widget/ and /call_settings/ - it should still be clear and easy to identify.
Copy this code and enter that into your HelpShelf setup form in the App ID field.
You should now be setup :)
IMPORTANT
Please don't forget to remove the original Javascript code you installed on your site for this provider. HelpShelf automatically loads this for you so you don't need to load it manually yourself as well. Doing so will cause issues. If you passed custom settings or user properties to this provider via the original Javascript code and you are not sure whether they will be carried through to your HelpShelf setup, then please contact us.
